Maulana Ghulam Aali Kasuri (d. 5 AH) was the first to write about the conditions of life of calling Imam Ibn Taymiyyah in Urdu. ۔ Then Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali (AD) paid attention to writing about his situation in almost a year, but could not write more than four pages. The draft was received by Sheikh Muhammad Ismail Panipati.

اردو میں امام ابن تیمیہ بلانے کے حالات زندگی پر سب سے پہلے مولانا غلام اعلی قصوری (م ۱۳۰۷ھ ) نے ’’ شافیہ ترجمہ حمویہ (مطبع محمدی لاہور: شوال ۱۲۹۱ھ = نومبر ۱۸۷۴ء) کے آخر (ص: ۱۰۷۔۱۱۲) میں لکھا تھا۔ پھر مولانا الطاف حسین حالی (م۱۹۱۴ء) نے تقریبا ۱۸۷۵ء میں ان کے حالات لکھنے کی طرف توجہ دی، لیکن چار صفحے سے زیادہ نہ لکھ سکے۔ اس کا مسودہ شیخ محمد اسماعیل پانی پتی کو ملا تو انھوں نے کلیات نثر حالی‘‘ (۱/ ۳۰۱۔۳۱۲) میں اسے تکملہ کے ساتھ ۱۹۲۷ء میں شائع کیا۔
