Happiness and sorrow are occasions where one can examine the inner self of a Muslim through his intellectual and collective attitude. He gives thanks to his Lord in times of joy and happiness and does not let go of patience in times of sorrow and grief. He has to go through both these situations in life and he comes out of these trials with great joy. Satan, who is man’s eternal enemy, tries to make him his target in moments of joy and sorrow. Those who are exalted by the wealth of faith and perfection do not fall prey to Satan, while those who have weak faith and belief easily fall prey to it.
