About the Book

Al-Qawaid Al-Arba is a short booklet written by Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab, the text consists Quranic ayaat that highlights the essence of Islamic Creed.

From the many manuscripts of Shaikhul Islaam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab we present to you “Al-Qawaid Al-Arba” (The Four Principles in understanding shirk) explained in Urdu by our noble Shaikh Arqam Rais Sanabili Madani Hafizullah. This book is considered from the elementary foundations that are studied along with “Usool uth-thalaatha (The 3 Fundamental principles) and “Al-Usool us-Sittah” (The Six foundations) to prepare oneself to have a better understanding when studying “Kitaab ut-Tawheed” which should be a goal for all Muslims to strive for in their beginning of seeking knowledge for one to stay away from shirk and establish tawheed within themselves and those around them.

Four Principels

Rule No.1: Acknowledging that Allah is the one and only Lord (i.e. Ruboobiyyah) is not sufficient to affirm that an individual be judged as a Muslim

Rule No.2: They say: “We don’t worship them except to bring us closer to Allaah”

Rule no.3: The Prophet didn’t differentiate between idol worshipers and those who worship Angels, Prophets,Righteous or other created beings

Rule no.4: The polytheists in our era are more severe in their Shirk than the first polytheists
